vSaaS Global appoints Mario Favaits as Chief AI Evangelist
vSaaS Global is pleased to announce the appointment of Mario Favaits as its new Chief AI Evangelist.
In this role, Mario will spearhead AI-driven innovation and enterprise transformation initiatives, helping organizations translate artificial intelligence from concept into measurable business outcomes. He will focus on advancing responsible AI adoption, strengthening digital growth strategies, and enabling enterprises to operationalize Generative AI at scale.
With over 25 years of leadership experience across global organizations including Oracle, Siemens, Continental, Alstom, and SMRT (Singapore’s public transport operator), Mario brings a rare combination of industrial operations expertise and deep artificial intelligence knowledge. His background uniquely bridges hands-on P&L accountability with cutting-edge AI strategy, ensuring technology initiatives align directly with business impact.
A Fellow in Artificial Intelligence at the National University of Singapore and Consultant at Boston Consulting Group, Mario combines academic rigor with enterprise execution. Through his mentorship and close engagement with CIOs and CTOs via NUS executive programs, he has developed a strong understanding of the strategic, operational, and governance priorities of modern technology leadership. This perspective will further strengthen vSaaS Global’s ability to collaborate with CIOs, CTOs, and COOs in delivering AI initiatives that are both practical and outcome-driven.
Mario’s expertise spans Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Diffusion Models, Computer Vision, Reinforcement Learning, and Agentic AI systems. He is also proficient in workflow automation platforms such as n8n, helping organizations streamline AI integration across business processes. In collaboration with Deloitte, he designed Singapore’s first online AI course for executives and co-designed NUS’ flagship GenAI program, enabling leaders to deploy AI effectively and responsibly.
Based in Singapore, Mario will play a key role in strengthening vSaaS Global’s AI practice and expanding advanced AI capabilities across the APAC region. His pragmatic approach to AI implementation, grounded in organizational change, risk management, and realistic capability assessment, will also support his involvement in leading and delivering AI-focused workshops and sessions, as well as executive education and training programs. This will be instrumental as vSaaS Global accelerates enterprise AI transformation initiatives globally.
